Cookie Policy
atami.pt does not set cookies. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to agree to.

1 What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Websites use them to remember settings, count visitors or show advertising. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage, follow the same rules.
2 What this site stores
Only one thing, and only if you switch the language yourself:
| Name | What it does | Where and how long |
|---|---|---|
atami-lang | Remembers whether you chose English or Portuguese, so the site opens in that language next time. | Your browser’s local storage, until you clear your browser data. It is never sent to us. |
The law allows this without consent because it is strictly necessary for a feature you asked for (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Article 5 of Portuguese Law 41/2004).
3 Visit statistics without cookies
We count visits with Plausible Analytics. It stores nothing on your device and does not track you across sites. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
4 Other websites
The site has no advertising, no social media buttons and no embedded maps or videos, and it loads its fonts from our own server. When you follow a link to WhatsApp or another website, that website’s own cookie rules apply.
5 How to clear what is stored
You can delete the language setting at any time in your browser settings, under site data or privacy. The site works the same without it and opens in English, or in Portuguese if your browser is set to Portuguese.
6 Changes to this policy
If we ever add cookies that need your consent, for example for advertising, we will ask first with a clear choice to accept or refuse, and update this page.
